Biography
Georgia Wilkinson-Derums is an actor and musician based between Sydney, Australia, and London, UK. A NIDA graduate holding a BFA in Acting, Georgia has performed in productions with Sydney Theatre Company, Griffin Theatre, The Old Fitz Theatre, and Fremantle Theatre Company. On screen, she has played leading roles in projects including One Sided, Angelfish, Stranger, Bassendream, and Girt By Fear. Recently, she was cast in Alena Lodkina's film Twice Over, starring alongside Mia Wasikowska and Charlie Heaton.
She is a founding member of the all-female rock band Body Type. Their 2022 debut album, Everything is Dangerous But Nothing's Surprising, established them as one of Australia’s most exciting new acts, earning praise from Rolling Stone ("One of the most consistently impressive, powerful and exciting bands on the Australian scene"), The Guardian, NPR, and NME ("one of the best Australian debut albums in recent memory" with 5 stars). Georgia has toured with acclaimed international artists such as Pixies, Fontaines DC, Wolf Alice, Sleater-Kinney, The Foo Fighters, and Amyl and the Sniffers.
