Biography
Joana Henning has worked in the audiovisual and entertainment industry, taking on roles in planning and executing artistic content, business management, and event production. She has implemented and/or coordinated projects at Rede Globo, Globosat, and MTV, cultural festivals, national and international tours, and globally impact initiatives such as Rio+20, WYD - Peace Child, the World Cup, the Paralympics, and COP30. She creates and executes cultural, environmental, and social projects. As CEO of Escarlate Studios, she oversees the production of films and series and manages the company's projects. In addition, she promotes and develops initiatives aligned with the concept of the creative economy and entertainment for change, such as the Chico Vive Platform. As a creator, producer, and/or distributor of audiovisual content, she stands out with some of her projects released on TV: "Rock Gol" MTV 2013 BR (by Caca Marcondes) and "Batalha do Passinho" Globo 2014 BR (by Rafael Dragaud); on streaming platforms: "O Caso Celso Daniel" Globoplay 2022 BR (by Marcos Jorge) and "Música Preta Brasileira" Globoplay 2023 BR (by Jorge Espírito Santo); and in film: "Synonymes" 2020 DE/FR/IL (by Nadav Lapid), "1982" Escarlate 2022 LB (by Oualid Mouaness), "Monica" 2023 US/IT/BR (by Andrea Pallaoro), and "Sequestro do Voo 375" Disney 2023 BR (by Marcus Baldini).
