Biography
Carin Greenberg (formerly Carin Greenberg Baker) is a Peabody Finalist and recipient of three Daytime Emmy Awards, two Annie Awards, and a Writers Guild Award, with eleven additional Daytime Emmy nominations. She is a creator, writer, story editor, and producer of children's entertainment. Currently, she serves as Executive Producer of Weather Hunters, an animated series for children ages 5-8, developed in collaboration with America's beloved weatherman, Al Roker. The series will premiere on PBS Kids on July 7, 2025.
Previously, she was executive story editor for Duck & Goose on Apple TV+ and Co-Executive Producer and Story Editor for Kinderwood, an upcoming animated series for Nick Jr. Her earlier work includes Co-Executive Producer and Story Editor for seasons two through four of the BAFTA, Emmy, and Annie-winning series Tumble Leaf for Amazon Kids; Co-Creator and writer of Destination Solar System, an immersive live space adventure featured in planetariums across the USA and UK; Head Writer for Nick Jr.'s animated series Lalaloopsy; writer for HBO Family's The Weight of the Nation for Kids: Quiz Ed!, which earned a 2013 Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Children's Television Program; Story Editor and writer for Disney Jr.'s Octonauts; Co-Creator and Executive Producer of Growing Up Creepie; Supervising Producer and developer of ToddWorld; and Executive Story Editor for Dragon Tales, HBO's Harold and the Purple Crayon and A Little Curious, 101 Dalmatians: The Series, Allegra's Window, Gullah Gullah Island, and Ghostwriter.
Greenberg has also written episodes for numerous series on PBS, Disney Jr., Nick Jr., and HBO Family. Before her television career, she authored 26 children's books, including the seven-book Karate Club series published by Penguin USA. Carin is a graduate of Yale University.
