Biography
Manoj Ramola is an Indian Casting Director and Creative Producer, Known for his sharp eye for talent and strong understanding of performance, he has worked across television, films, commercials, and digital platforms, earning a respected place in Hindi entertainment. Born in Bageshwar (Uttarakhand) and educated in Nainital (Uttarakhand), Manoj Ramola began his artistic journey through theatre and stage performances during his school years. He later appeared in regional films before moving to Mumbai in 2007 to pursue a professional career in the entertainment industry. He started his casting career as an Assistant Casting Director for the television series Chhal - Sheh Aur Maat on Colors TV. Over the years, he has worked with leading production houses including Endemol Shine India, Inspire Films, Keylight Production, Rowdy Rascal, and Vineyard Films, contributing to television dramas, films, commercials, and digital content. His notable projects include Savdhaan India, Crime Patrol, Waaris, Main Naa Bhoolungi, Woh Pehli Baar, and the film Code Blue. He has also cast television commercials for brands such as Marvel Tea, Microtek, and Kesh King. Apart from casting, Manoj Ramola is the author of Audition Room, one of the pioneering Indian books focused on auditions and the casting process from a casting director’s perspective. The book was inaugurated by legendary actor Om Puri and continues to guide aspiring actors. He is also the Founder-Director of Audition School, where he mentors aspiring actors through workshops and industry focused training programs. In addition to his work behind the camera, Manoj Ramola has appeared as an actor in shows including Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki, Mata Ki Chowki, and CID, along with a friendly appearance in the film UP Wali Love Story. For Manoj Ramola, casting is not merely about selecting actors - it is about discovering honesty, emotion, and truth in performance.
