Biography
Marcus Flanary is a director, writer, and producer based in Los Angeles, California, with over a decade of experience in the film and television industry. Originally from the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area, Marcus moved to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for visual storytelling and has since established himself as a creative leader in the media world. As the founder of Into The Lens Media, a multimedia production company specializing in product videos, photography, and scripted content, Marcus is known for his ability to bring innovative ideas to life through every stage of production.
Marcus's journey in video production began in high school, where he first discovered his love for storytelling. He went on to study Film and Television Production at Diablo Valley College and the Academy of Art University, laying the foundation for his career. Throughout his work, Marcus has worn many hats, including directing and producing several short films, such as Sacred Grounds (2013) and The Perfect Edge (2016), while also taking on writing and directing duties in various other projects. He has also worked as a 1st Assistant Director, where he showcased his leadership and organizational skills in managing logistics, safety, and scheduling.
In addition to his film work, Marcus is an active volunteer media team member at Journey of Faith Church, where he creates and edits video content, manages live-streaming, and supports audiovisual efforts to enhance the church's media presence.
