Biography
Steven Vega is a bilingual New York-based actor and performer known for his versatility across television, film, theater, and voiceover. His television credits include co-starring on Jon Glaser Loves Gear (TruTV), Celebrity Ghost Stories (Biography Channel), and Method or Madness (Rare View Films), showcasing his depth and charisma on screen.
On film, he has delivered memorable performances in On The Run (Veganature Films), El Otro Lado directed by Roberto Bentivegna, Riding Hood (Silvercheese Productions), Sorry I Hurt (NYU Film), The Usual by Carlos Velazquez, and Have You Heard directed by Bernard Gourley.
His theater work includes leading and supporting roles in notable New York productions such as Whitman @ The Whitney (Hudson Guild Theater Company), The Fabulous Allen Parsons Show (Broadway Comedy Club), The Real Inspector Hound (Out of the Box Theater Company), and The Exonerated (Out of the Box Theater). He has also hosted major events including the World Peace Festival at Carnegie Hall and multiple showcases for the Harlem School of the Arts.
As a voiceover artist, he has brought numerous storybook characters to life with warmth and humor for the Harlem School of the Arts. Trained in both classical and on-camera technique, he is a graduate of the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts two-year conservatory and continues his Cinematic training under acclaimed instructor John Swanbeck.
Fluent in English and Spanish, he is also a talented singer (tenor, belt), dancer, and comedian, known for his uncanny Pitbull impersonation. A lifelong performer and entertainer, he combines humor, intensity, and heart in every project he touches.
When he's not on set, you'll find him cooking gourmet meals as a master griller and pastry chef, rollerblading through the city, or spending time with his parrot - who laughs and whistles on cue.
