Biography
In 2021, if you had told middle-aged Ronald Bradley Beard that he would soon be Bradley Beard, the actor, he would have probably laughed as a Chief of Police and said to you that his law enforcement and business management career had already decided his future. Nonetheless, this passionate, determined, ambitious, and deeply religious man, born in 1977 in Midwest City, Oklahoma, was destined to become an actor with hopes of making his mark in screen history.
Bradley is the oldest son (among four children) of hard-working, blue-collar parents, Cheryl Patricia Cothren, a retired registered nurse, and Steveann Anthony Beard (deceased), a jet engine mechanic. His parents were from Oklahoma, and he has German, Irish, and English ancestry. Young Bradley spent his boyhood growing up in predominantly African American-dominant communities, where he learned to respect the African American culture and develop into a college-caliber basketball player. During high school, he finally settled in Moore, Oklahoma, with his parents and younger brother Scott.
While in high school, Bradley was focused on becoming an NBA-level basketball player, which took a turn right before his first year of college basketball, when his high school girlfriend informed him of her pregnancy. Soon after he abandoned his plans of becoming a professional basketball player, dropped out of college, and at age 20 enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and began his military law enforcement career. The following 25 years of his life were full of military, law enforcement, and entrepreneurial success, highlighted by an over 8-year term as a Chief of Police. He made his acting debut with a small part in the television series "Y Marshal" and immediately exhibited an undeniable drive to impact the film industry.
With handsome movie star looks and a charismatic smile, Bradley is expected to continue to climb the acting ladder with hopes of becoming a blockbuster film-level actor within 5 years. In 2021, he renewed his faith in Christianity and continues to play an active role in helping the homeless and less fortunate people in his Salt Lake City, UT community. A friendly and thoughtful man well known for his compassion and empathy, Bradley Beard has the potential to become a well-liked film industry member. He has raised two daughters, and he and his ex-wife had a son in 2023, whom he nicknamed "Bry Bry". Bradley has indeed come a long way from the living paycheck to paycheck of his youth to become a movie star, potentially.
