Biography
Scott has been a professional actor for nearly 20 years and holds a B.A. in theatre from George Mason University in Virginia. His stage credits include Two Gentlemen of Verona, Buried Child, Romeo & Juliet, I Hate Hamlet, and The Foreigner, performed at various theaters across Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, such as The Kennedy Center, Signature Theatre, Washington Stage Guild, and Everyman. In Los Angeles, he appeared in a critically praised production of Glengarry Glen Ross. He has featured in numerous national commercials, including Verizon, DirecTV, Wells Fargo (alongside his daughter, Beckett), and a Snapple campaign that took him around the globe, filming in locations from China to South Africa. Television audiences may recognize him from guest roles on shows like Ghost Whisperer, CSI: Miami, Scrubs, Criminal Minds, and Bones. Scott has also starred in several independent films, including Sparks, Shoot or Be Shot, Falling, and Code Hunter. His performance in Tomorrow by Midnight earned him a nomination for the Breakthrough Acting Award at the 2001 Method Fest. Sparks marks his second collaboration with Christopher Folino, a friendship that began during Chris’s first film, Gamers. He currently resides in the Los Angeles area with his wife, actress Cathleen Kaelyn, their daughter Beckett, and four highly possessive cats.
