Biography
David Novak has over twenty-five years of experience in the entertainment industry. His recent work includes numerous films broadcast on Lifetime Channel and Lifetime Movie Network. He played Detective Hobbs in the TV movie "My Daughter Was Stolen," which has aired multiple times on Lifetime, and also served as a co-producer on that project. David has been involved in many other projects and is currently developing films based on his own writing.
He is an actor, writer, musician, singer, songwriter, and guitarist. From his teenage years into his 40s, he performed at various venues, mainly in Southern California. His music repertoire included covers of popular bands of the era, as well as many original compositions. Early bands where he was the lead singer, frontman, and guitarist include Sonkist, Chaddessen Street Band, Grey Bear, and others.
David began his acting career as an extra in feature films, prime-time TV shows, and national commercials. As his skills improved, he secured small speaking roles in films and television. Over time, his roles grew larger and more prominent. Today, he regularly works as a leading man and in substantial supporting roles. One of his early breakout roles was a recurring character, "Tiso," a mafia general, on ABC's daytime soap General Hospital.
In addition to acting, David has written several screenplays. He frequently appears in feature films, television, and commercials, with aspirations to produce his own projects.
