Biography
Jeff Rosick is an actor, music composer, producer, writer, and graphic designer based in Portland, Oregon. After relocating to Los Angeles, he gained recognition for his portrayal of Buddy Garrity Jr. on the Emmy Award-winning series Friday Night Lights. He later appeared as a reserved young hitman in the pilot Metro, directed by Academy Award winner Stephen Gaghan, and acted alongside David Duchovny as Officer Colin McInerny in NBC's Aquarius. On NBC's Parenthood, Jeff played a high school bully opposite Craig T. Nelson and Miles Heizer, followed by a guest role on FOX's Bones as Darrell Taggert, a well-intentioned man caught in unfortunate circumstances. On the set of the NYTVF-nominated pilot Camp Abercorn, he reunited with Brad Leland, who portrayed his father Buddy Garrity in Friday Night Lights, playing a Boy Scout camp staff member. Jeff also composed original music for the pilot.
Jeff attended Loyola University Chicago and Gonzaga University, earning a B.A. in Theatre. Shortly after graduation, he secured his first film role in the indie feature Norman, starring Dan Byrd, Richard Jenkins, and Adam Goldberg. His career expanded into writing, producing, starring in, and scoring films such as The Massacre at Black Divide and Constant.
He has trained with renowned acting coaches including Katt Shea, Rod Rowland, and UCB in Los Angeles.
Jeff remains actively involved in the entertainment industry, contributing as an actor, music composer, graphic designer, and in various other creative capacities. He is a classically trained pianist, guitarist, and sings in the baritone-tenor range.
