Biography

Alexa Jordan Kenin, born on February 16, 1962, in New York City, began her acting career as a child. She secured her first professional role as Carla Mae opposite Jason Robards in the 1972 TV film The House Without a Christmas Tree. After several television appearances, she starred with Clint Eastwood in Honkytonk Man (1982) as an aspiring young singer. One of her final roles was as Jena in John Hughes's Pretty in Pink (1986). Alexa was found dead in her Manhattan apartment on September 10, 1985, shortly after completing the film, which was dedicated in her memory.
