Biography
Augusto Rovegno is a media executive, builder and operator whose career has spanned streaming, television, sports and entertainment across the United States, Latin America and Europe.
Over more than two decades, he has worked with leading creators, producers, talent and media companies to develop, acquire, produce and launch hundreds of projects across film, television, documentaries, live sports and streaming platforms. His experience spans content strategy, business development, acquisitions, production, platform growth and audience development.
Rovegno currently serves as Senior Vice President, DTC Latin America at Paramount, where he leads regional content strategy for Paramount+ and Pluto TV. Previously, he helped lead the launch and growth of ViX at TelevisaUnivision, contributing to the development of one of the world's leading Spanish-language streaming platforms. Earlier in his career, he joined Netflix during its international expansion and played a role in the growth of the company's content and production ecosystem across Latin America.
Throughout his career, Rovegno has partnered with some of the entertainment industry's most accomplished storytellers, producers, talent and rights holders, helping bring award-winning and commercially successful projects to audiences around the world. He has also been a strong advocate for emerging creators and new voices, supporting the development of talent and creating opportunities for the next generation of storytellers. Productions developed and supported during his tenure have received recognition from major festivals and awards organizations, including Sundance and the International Emmy Awards.
Beyond his executive responsibilities, Rovegno serves as a Television Academy and International Emmy Awards judge and regularly participates in industry conferences, festivals and educational initiatives. He is passionate about storytelling, sports and building businesses, and is committed to helping shape the future of entertainment while supporting the next generation of creative talent.
