Defne Samyeli is a Turkish actress, singer, and television presenter with a career spanning more than three decades in the entertainment industry. Although widely recognized in Turkey for her long-standing television career, her artistic foundation has always been rooted in acting.
She received extensive acting training in Los Angeles under legendary acting coach Eric Morris, studying with him over several years in private sessions focused on emotional truth, character development, and scene work. She has also trained in the Ivana Chubbuck Technique, further refining her craft through one of the industry’s most respected acting methods. Her professional training also includes Musical Theatre with Bruce Kolb in New York.
