Biography

Nazriya Nazim is a popular Indian actress and producer known for her work primarily in Malayalam and Tamil cinema. She was born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Nazriya began her career as a television anchor before making her acting debut in the Malayalam film industry. Her charming screen presence, versatility, and natural acting style have won her a large fan base.

Nazriya's breakthrough came with the 2013 film "Neram", a bilingual in both Malayalam and Tamil, where she starred opposite Nivin Pauly. She quickly became one of the most sought-after actresses in South India, starring in hit films like "Raja Rani" (2013), "Ohm Shanthi Oshaana" (2014), "Bangalore Days" (2014), and "Koode" (2018). In these films, Nazriya's performances were critically acclaimed, with her portraying a wide range of characters, from bubbly and energetic roles to more intense, dramatic performances.

She took a break from acting after her marriage to fellow Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil in 2014, but she made a successful comeback in 2018 with the movie "Koode" directed by Anjali Menon. Besides acting, Nazriya has ventured into film production and co-produced some successful films under the banner of Fahadh Faasil and Friends.

Nazriya Nazim is known for her vibrant personality, down-to-earth nature, and effortless performances. She has received several awards, including the Kerala State Film Award and various other accolades for her contributions to Malayalam and Tamil cinema.

Her fans admire her for her authenticity both on and off the screen, and she continues to be a beloved figure in the South Indian film industry.
