Biography
Ukrainian composer, music producer, founder of "United Kids Festival".
From 1997, he worked as a singer and composer at the "Pioner" studio of Oleg Afanasyenko. At that time, he collaborated with artists such as Yevgeniya Vlasova, Gallina, Olga Yunakova, Artur Kulpovich, Lina Skachko, Liya Gromova, Kostya Gnatenko, Alina Grosu, and others.
From 2000, he collaborated with Yuriy Nikitin (production agency "Mamamusic"). During this period, he wrote numerous songs for Ukrainian performers, including: "Lyubov - yad" for Irina Bilyk, "Dzhimmy" for singer Gallina, most of the repertoire for Alina Grosu and Asia Akhat, and others.
In 2001, Ruslan Kvinta's collaboration with the People's Artist of Ukraine, Sofia Rotaru, began. He wrote about 27 songs for her, including hits "Nebo - eto ya", "Odna kalina", "Belaya zima", and "Osenniye tsvety".
In 2004, Ruslan Kvinta received the "Song of the Year" award for the composition "Odna kalina" by Sofia Rotaru. He also received diplomas for "New songs about the main thing" for Sofia Rotaru's song "Belaya zima", "Osenniye tsvety", and over 20 diplomas from programs like "Shlyager", "Hits of 2004" (Kyiv) for songs "Lyubov - yad" by Irina Bilyk and "Pro tebya" by Yevgeniya Vlasova. From 2005, he worked at the company "Style Records" and collaborated with Mika Newton. He also composed music and soundtracks for the movie "Life unexpectedly" and the series "Cadets".
In 2011, Mika Newton ranked 4th at Eurovision for Ukraine with the song "Angel", for which Ruslan Kvinta wrote the music. On November 2, 2011, in collaboration with Natalia Mogilevskaya, he presented the music project "INDI", where he is the author and frontman. The band is the only one in the world to use bassoon in pop music.
From 2013, he was the music producer for the TV channel 1+1 projects "Voice of the Country" and "Voice. Kids".
In 2014, Ruslan Kvinta's song for Alekseev, "Pyanoye solntse", became the first platinum single in Ukraine on iTunes. The app users downloaded the song over 100,000 times.
From 2018 to 2020, he was the music producer of "Eurovision. National Selection". In 2022, he founded the International Children's Song Festival, United Kids Festival, which is regularly held in various European countries to preserve and popularize Ukrainian culture abroad.
