Biography
Kristýna Badinková Nováková, born Kristýna Nováková on April 24, 1983, in Prague, Czechoslovakia, is a Czech actress best known for her role as Jindřiška in the film Pelíšky.
She completed her education at a specialized secondary school focused on tourism and later graduated from DAMU's Department of Alternative and Puppet Theater. Between 1994 and 1998, she was part of the White Network Theater Ensemble, and since 2005, she has been producing her own theater projects, including the premiere of her original performance ADORE at Prague's NoD theater in 2005. She gained recognition from the film Education of Girls in the Czech Republic, where she portrayed the schoolgirl Agatha. Director Jan Hřebejk noticed her there and invited her to audition for the role of Jindřiška in Pelíšky. Her other screen credits include TV series such as Pool, Surgery in the Rose Garden, and Airport, as well as films like Ro(c)to Subversives, Catch the Doctor, and Children of the Night. She appeared in the documentary My House, My Castle by Pavel Fojtík and starred in How We Shot with Tom, directed by Moris Issa, which won at the CIAK Junior international festival for children's-themed short films. On stage, she has performed in productions like Studio Two Women's Locker Room, Healthy Sick, and Graduate.
Kristýna was married to director Jaroslav Fuit. They have two daughters: Rozárie, born on November 25, 2009, and Mariana, born in 2013. The couple divorced in 2016. In 2018, she remarried.
