Biography
Sean Patrick Kennedy, son of ballet master Lynda DeChane, began his career as Indiana Jones at Disney M.G.M. Studios. His work spans TV shows such as Thunder in Paradise, Steven Spielberg's Seaquest DSV, The Glades, Magic City, Burn Notice, and films including Reflections of Evil, Fast & Furious III: Tokyo Drift, Chronicles of Riddick, Rock of Ages, The Killing of a Japanese Bookie, Concrete Dove, and Star Trek: New Voyages.
After relocating to Los Angeles in 2003, Kennedy joined the SoCalfilm Group, founded by Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio—writers and producers of Mask of Zorro, Shrek, and the Pirates of the Caribbean series—where he gained insight into the creation of independent and mainstream Hollywood films.
On TV, while working with BSB Productions' Thunder in Paradise, Kennedy collaborated with then up-and-coming co-producer Kevin Beggs, now Chairman of Lionsgate Television. Kennedy was involved in promoting Thunder in Paradise and worked with Executive Producer Tom Greene as a writing and location scouting assistant. After the show's first season, he joined the art and writing departments for Steven Spielberg’s Seaquest DSV at Universal Studios Florida.
Acting credits include Guardian of the Realm, Reflections of Evil, Fast & Furious III: Tokyo Drift, Chronicles of Riddick, Rock of Ages, The Killing of a Japanese Bookie, Concrete Dove, and Star Trek: New Voyages.
Stage roles include Albert Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie (2009), Jeff Douglas in Brigadoon (2010), Sky Masterson in Guys & Dolls (2010), Dr. Neville Craven in The Secret Garden (2011), and Joe Cantwell in Gore Vidal's The Best Man (2012), for which he received the W.I.T.A. Award for Best Actor.
As a writer, Kennedy's new TV and film projects include Sam Savage: PI, The Coffee Shop, Eaten..., Nightmare at 35,000 Feet, Rocky Raccoon, Ebbets Deli, Coming of Age, P.R., The King vs..., Bad Mitzvah, Cosplay, and he hosts the reality series Silver Screens Unknown.
