Biography
Rohith Pisapati is an Indian creative director, writer, and production leader with over 13 years of experience across OTT originals, long-format series, and feature films. He currently works as Creative Director, Telugu Originals at JioHotstar, where he oversees content strategy, development, production, post-production, platform delivery, and promotions.
With extensive experience across more than 12 OTT originals, Rohith has played a key role in building high-performing regional content, including successful franchises and multiple top-ranking platform originals. His core strengths include content development, writers’ room supervision, script evaluation, large-scale production execution, post-production workflows, editing, platform compliance, and audience-focused creative strategy.
Before transitioning into OTT leadership, Rohith worked as an associate director on several feature films, including Salaar, That Is Mahalakshmi, Katamarayudu, Size Zero, Gopala Gopala, and Greeku Veerudu. He also worked as a scriptwriter for Family Matters on Disney+ Hotstar.
Known for combining creative judgment with executional discipline, Rohith brings a strong understanding of storytelling, production realities, and streaming audience behaviour. His work reflects a practical and sharp approach to developing, producing, and delivering impactful regional entertainment.
