Biography
Killian Bray Lyrik starred in Don't Stop Believing at the age of 18, hosted by Spice Girl Emma Bunton and judged by multi-platinum artist Anastacia and others. He provided backing vocals for boy bands Take That, One Direction, and JLS, and featured as a backing vocalist in The X Factor for Matt Cardle and other live finalists in series 7, the most-viewed season in the show's history. He worked as a TV extra for commercials including Cadbury's 2012 Olympics Team GB campaign alongside professional tennis player Andy Murray, and Men of Manual's sexual health campaign. Lyrik also starred in the gospel TV series Time to Shine, with judge Angel Taylor of American girl group Trin-i-tee 5:7 branding his audition "the most professional of the series". At 20 years old, he travelled the world as an entertainment assistant manager at sea, before working as a choreographer in Europe and later studying English Literature at university. He then moved to London, England, where he returned to the music industry as an assistant and supported artists such as Rihanna, Mick Jagger, Sam Smith, Mark Ronson, Avicii, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Momford & Sons, Florence & the Machine, Stargate, Daniel Merriweather, Lighthouse Family, The Corrs, and Spice Girl Geri Halliwell. Lyrik's live performances as a solo act include Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant: Disneyland Paris, Roundhouse: London, Hardrock Café: Denarau Fiji, Guildhall: Portsmouth, Beck Theatre: Hayes, Corn Exchange: Ipswich, and Manchester Pride.
