Biography
Bryan Kreutz is an actor, TV director, producer, and writer. He started acting at eight years old, though his very first role was as baby Jesus in a theater production during infancy. His first speaking part came when he played Balthazar, one of the three wise men, in a church play. Bryan has also shown a strong interest in producing and directing both plays and films. As a teenager, he produced, co-wrote, and starred in a Star Trek fan film series that eventually reached 60 episodes.
From a young age, Bryan demonstrated innovation, leadership, and initiative. He organized neighborhood events such as street hockey and baseball home run derby leagues, complete with statistics, graphics, sound, and post-game analysis. He even produced a taped neighborhood hockey all-star game.
Bryan attended the Broadcast Center in Clayton, Missouri, excelling in Journalism and Voice-overs. At 20, he secured his first radio job just outside Peoria, Illinois, serving as Sports Director. There, he hosted a Saturday morning call-in sports show, interviewed coaches, and provided play-by-play commentary for local sports. After a multi-year break from acting, producing, directing, and radio voice work, Bryan returned to radio in 2006 as a producer at KJSL in St. Louis. A year later, he wrote and voiced a live weekly segment as a Star Trek Analyst on the Bob Wells Show, running from December 2007 to May 2010. In 2010, he became Director and producer of Revolution 618, a Christian Television Network (CTN) affiliate program, helping develop its concept and production. On May 3, 2011, he was credited as Director and later Executive Producer for Rescued Nation TV, a co-created show that aired on CTN and later on CW affiliates. Over two years, he produced and directed more than 50 episodes across two different TV talk shows. Following his initial television success, Bryan began producing films. In 2013, alongside Brayden Patterson, he helped create the themes, story, and concepts for the short film To Inflict, which was written and directed by Elizabeth Wiegard.
Besides producing To Inflict, Bryan appeared in a small acting role as a customer making a purchase in a coffee shop.
He also plays Brody, a supporting character in the syndicated TV series Up on High Ground, now airing in reruns on PureFlix.com. Bryan directed many episodes, produced the series, and contributed to writing every aired episode.
Bryan's film experience continued in 2015, when he appeared as the spit bag passenger next to Kate Upton in William H. Macy's film The Layover, and as TV talk show host Larry Thrunklemann in Tom Green’s comedy Interviewing Monsters and Bigfoot.
