Biography
Jeff Evans is a producer, author, and leadership communications advisor known for his work in political media, narrative storytelling, and executive leadership. He is the president of 315 Entertainment Group and JC-Evans, Inc.
Jeff has produced and directed five documentaries and more than fifty television episodes. He is also an accomplished AVID Editor and is a graduate of the Hollywood Film Institute. Since 2007, Jeff has written screenplays that have received recognition, including "The Midnight Train" (PAGE Gold Prize), "Traveling Light" (Kairos Prize Runner-Up), and "The King Affair" (Kairos Prize Finalist).
Jeff began his media career at a young age, floor-directing a live television program when he was just thirteen. During his high school years, he used his interest in writing and photography to co-found an alternative campus newspaper. Then, as a student at the University of Michigan, he began his involvement in politics, developing a newsletter and writing for campus publications, "The Michigan Review" and "Consider."
Following his graduation from college, Jeff worked on numerous political campaigns and for the California State Assembly before forming his own communications firm, JC-Evans Communications, in 1993. He took over the dormant Red Barn Video Company shortly thereafter and began developing promotional videos, commercial spots, and documentaries.
JC-Evans was incorporated in 2006 and formed the subsidiary 315 Entertainment Group in 2007.
Jeff spent four years writing, producing, and editing a weekly television program for Christ for all Nations (CfaN), an international ministry organization. His work for CfaN allowed him to shoot on location in Ethiopia, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Indonesia.
In total, Jeff has nearly four decades of media experience, including writing, producing, and directing radio and television. He has been recognized with numerous awards, including Tellys, Communicators, Pollies, a Summit Creative Award, and an ADDY.
