Biography

Mark David Charles Griffin is an English actor and writer. His acting career began after relocating to Los Angeles, where he secured the lead role in the Disney TV series Action Man. He remained in L.A. for fourteen years before returning to England, where he took on a range of diverse roles and co-founded the Two Shillings & Sixpence Theatre Company. The company stages three to four productions annually in Richmond, raising funds for local charities. His theatre credits include Andy and Jimmy in Simon Stephens' Bluebird, Jonathan in Simon Stephens' Wastewater at The Tabard Theatre in Chiswick, David in Joe Wenbourne's Broken Strings at the Victoria Theatre, and Wenbourne's Touching The Blue at the Edinburgh Festival. Additionally, he portrayed Kurt in Neil LaBute's A Second of Pleasure, Phil in David Rabe's Those The River Keeps, Simon in Alexi Kaye Campbell's Apologia—all in Richmond—and Matt Lacey in The Two Faces of Agent Lacey at the Above The Arts Theatre in Leicester Square. In early 2018, he appeared as Rickshaw in the national tour of Soldier On, Johnny Guy Lewis's play for The Soldiers Arts Academy, which is now showing at The Other Palace Theatre in Victoria.
