Synopsis
Three completely different young people meet out of necessity: to live near their college destinations. One is Ramone, a rocker who never made it big in music, and now needs to study to find a decent job and escape the confines of his mother, who can't stand him at home anymore. The other is Serginho, an innocent country boy who always dreamed of leaving the countryside and going to college to make a name for himself, as he puts it, but to do so, he needs to find a job to survive. And finally, Ludi, a rich boy trying to find meaning in his life away from the walls of wealth and power his family instills. They must overcome the difficulties of their own lives while trying to learn to live together, and through this, they mature as people. They initially don't stand each other, but over time, they end up helping each other. Everything takes place in a big city, where the three will have to face the concrete jungle and the challenges of college life. "A República" is a series with puppets that features important actors such as Oscar Filho, Alan Benatti, Mauricio de Barros, Sérgio Pardal, Adriano Pereira, Wanessa Morgado, Warley Santana, Giovani Venturini, among others. The series is aimed at young adults and teenagers, creating a connection with the characters as they live in the same environment, with similar problems and conflicts. The series takes place during the college years of these three different characters, with each eight-episode season spanning a semester. Each episode tells a story focusing on the problem of one of the characters, with secondary stories of the other two characters, and how the three act to help or hinder each other's lives, always with the best of intentions.
