Sixth Season of Nawada International Film Festival Concludes Grandly Historic Participation of Over 2300 Films from 84 Countries Nawada. The sixth season of the Nawada International Film Festival (NIFF), which has established its unique identity as a global confluence of cinema and culture, concluded grandly on Sunday, January 4th, at Vijay Multiplex, Nawada. This one-day film festival started at 10:00 AM and continued till late evening, becoming a memorable experience for film enthusiasts. This year, the festival received an unprecedented response internationally. Over 2300 film entries were received from 84 countries, which is a historic achievement in itself. In this festival, which has been held continuously for six years, filmmakers from over 80 countries, as well as from almost all states of India, participated this time. The festival director, film artist, director, and district icon Rahul Verma expressed his happiness on the successful organization and said that the Nawada International Film Festival is not just a platform for cinema, but it has become a powerful medium of dialogue connecting different countries and cultures, which also effectively brings social issues to the forefront. During the one-day festival, approximately 20 selected films were screened. The "Film Fair" was also a major attraction for the audience, where thought-provoking films that conveyed positive social messages were highly appreciated. Former District Magistrate Ashutosh Kumar Verma was present on this occasion. The dignified presence of celebrity guests including Bollywood actor Deepak Tijori, film director Joy Rajan, Vimlendu Singh, and many filmmakers and artists from India and abroad added to the grandeur of the festival.
