Synopsis
In the humid, neon-drenched streets of Lenoir, North Carolina, childhood friends Mason and Millz walk a razor-thin line between the life they were born into and the future they dream of. Mason, the quiet observer, desperately clings to the hope of escaping the neighborhood's relentless cycle of poverty. Meanwhile, Millz, a natural-born hustler, fully embraces the quick-fire allure of the streets, convinced that owning a piece of the system is the only way to survive. Yet in Lenoir, loyalty is a high-stakes gamble that can fracture even the strongest bonds.
When a deal goes south, Millz finds himself behind bars, leaving a dangerous $3,000 debt to a local kingpin. In a ruthless twist, the dealer shifts the burden onto Mason, the "clean" member of their duo, holding him accountable for Millz’s mistake. With just a week to settle a debt he never incurred, Mason is thrust into the shadowy world he’s long avoided. The atmospheric soundtrack slows to a rhythmic, pulsing tension as Mason becomes ensnared in a realm indifferent to innocence, where only payment matters.
