Synopsis
As the holiday season approaches, Ella, a noble descendant from Europe, finds herself at Foxwood, a renowned equestrian training center in the U.S. With her cherished horse by her side, she prepares for a pivotal Christmas gala event that could shape her destiny. At Foxwood, she encounters Theo, a gifted rider whose passion for horses is as deep as her own. Together, they forge a profound connection through their shared dreams of crafting lives independent from their families' expectations.
Amidst the picturesque stables and the crisp winter air, Theo confides in Ella about the pressure to return to his family "ranch" and assume leadership, a path he's unsure he desires. Ella, familiar with the weight of legacy, opens her world to him, filled with traditions and obligations. Yet, Theo harbors a secret—he is actually Teddy, a crown prince and cousin to Ella's university friend. As Ella grapples with the revelation that she has unwittingly fallen for royalty, only her aunt, the countess, is aware, subtly guiding Ella toward a love that transcends titles.
Spanning two films, Ella and Theo's romantic journey navigates themes of identity, duty, and the courage to follow one's heart. Set against the majestic allure of royal ceremonies and the rustic charm of Foxwood, their story unfolds with a blend of elegance and authenticity, inspired by Caro Carson's beloved novel, The Dude Ranch Duke.
