Vandad and Laides tells Gunilla about the time before Samuel passed away, including the devastating series of events and betrayals that lead to how it all ended.

Gunilla finds a key with Laide's name printed on it that leads to Samuel's grandmother's house. She goes there for answers but it turns out the house burnt down. She confronts Laide and demands answers: what were they doing in that house?
