In Santa B\u00e1rbara, in southern Chile, Ramona (19) and Helga (13), after burying their mother, decide to find a destination away from the abusive father. It is the year 1967, a time of political upheaval and work is difficult to find, so they leave for the capital, Santiago. Despite the charm of the city, they are robbed as soon as they arrive. But in that confusing incident they meet Carmen (26), who proposes a business to them to survive.
