Synopsis

In the 4th century B.C., a pagan shaman prophesies that Olympias, Queen of Macedonia, wife of King Phillip II will give birth to a baby who will grow up to destroy the world, and the baby named Alexander.

Years later, Alexander with many successful campaigns unifies Persia and Macedonia, so great that it makes Aristotle worry that the world can be destroyed by Alexander's advance toward the East...

Trivia

Before Tokyopop picked up the series, Jack Fletcher and Peter Chung worked on the English adaptation of its first four episodes. John Rafter Lee (Aristotle), Denise Poirier (Cassandra), and Julia Fletcher (Olympias) voiced characters in those episodes, but were replaced after episode 4.
Steve Blum, Beau Billingslea, and Wendee Lee also voiced Spike, Jet, and Faye, respectively, in the anime Cowboy Bebop.
Peter Chung, the writer, also created the animated series Aeon Flux. Coincidentally, Denise Poirier and John Rafter Lee also voiced Aeon and Trevor Goodchild in that series, respectively.
