Fred's idea of Christmas involves relishing delicious food, exchanging presents, and spending quality time with family. However, Emma's idea of Christmas revolves around extending a helping hand to those in need. Emma feels nostalgic about the traditions followed by her parents and expresses a desire to travel to Canada. Emma invites Fred to join her on the trip, but the mothers of his daughters are not ready to allow them to leave without prior notice. Regardless, Fred sticks to his decision of accompanying Emma on the trip. Meanwhile, Vic, Romy, and Clara plan to put a halt to their departure plans.
