Synopsis

Reports of unusual occurrences have sparked panic worldwide. With longer daylight hours and three full moons in a month, many are wondering if this is the result of global warming. However, a history teacher from Texas named Howard Henderson believes that the Greek gods are behind these strange events. Though most people find Howard's theory amusing, it turns out that he's right. Apollo, the god of the sun, and Artemis, the goddess of the moon, have been causing chaos with their partying and negligence in their duties. When Artemis goes too far and destroys Apollo's temple, their father Zeus decides that enough is enough. He demands that they return to Olympus and face punishment for their ungodly behavior, which has threatened to reveal the secret of the gods. To rectify their actions, the Board of Olympians sends the twins to Texas to convince Howard that they don't exist, all while fitting in as regular teenagers. If they fail, they will face the worst punishment a god can imagine: being demoted to mortals. To make matters worse, Zeus and the mortal-obsessed goddess Hera accompany them, pretending to be their parents. The twins make a promise to stick together, but they immediately break it on the first day of school. As they struggle to survive high school and keep their godly gifts a secret, they must also figure out their true mission before they can return home to Olympus.
