Pete Lynch, an actor originally from San Francisco and now based in Los Angeles, graduated from the full-time program at Shelton Studios Acting School in San Francisco. In the Bay Area, he appeared in numerous feature and short films and performed in several plays before starring in a sold-out summer run as "The Dude" in a Shakespearean adaptation of The Big Lebowski. Following this, he relocated to New York City, where he wrote, acted in, and produced original plays and films, joined SAG-AFTRA, and appeared in various films, television shows, and web series, most recently featuring in HBO's The Plot Against America.
His debut short film, TMARAMRLT—which he wrote, produced, and starred in—was officially selected by 28 film festivals worldwide, including events in the USA, Canada, Venezuela, the Republic of Congo, Ukraine, Mexico, Romania, India, the Czech Republic, Scotland, Turkey, the Netherlands, and Spain. The film earned Best Fiction Short and Best Postmodern Short at Redwood Shorts and Scripts Fest, Best Thriller Short at After Hours Film Fest, and received nominations for Best Dark Comedy Short and Best Acting Duo at the Independent Shorts Awards.
Upcoming projects include a feature-length fantasy/documentary hybrid titled ISMSWCFSA and an untitled romantic comedy set in a newly post-capitalist America.
