Alex Al is an American bassist, guitarist, keyboardist, composer, producer, and arranger. He is best known for his decade-long role as bassist and keyboardist for pop legend Michael Jackson. Alex performed with Michael at the iconic 30th anniversary concerts at Madison Square Garden, featuring the historic final performance of the original Jackson 5 lineup. He also appears in Michael Jackson's "This Is It," the highest-grossing documentary/concert film ever, with worldwide earnings of $300 million.
Alex has contributed as a player, writer, producer, and arranger across numerous albums spanning nearly every genre. His work includes Grammy-winning projects that have sold over 100 million copies globally. He has collaborated with superstars and legendary artists such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Beyoncé, Janet Jackson, George Benson, Mariah Carey, Tupac Shakur, Rihanna, John Legend, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, and Birdy. He has collaborated with some of the biggest producers in rock and pop history, who have worked with artists like Green Day, Goo Goo Dolls, Dave Matthews Band, Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston (notably the 30 million platinum-selling "The Bodyguard" soundtrack), and Fleetwood Mac.
