His initial foray into show business was as a singer and musician in various bands in his homeland. After earning a degree in Psychology, Osvaldo spent several years practicing his profession, excelling in group therapy sessions with teenagers seeking personal and academic guidance. Subsequently, he pursued modeling, where his striking looks landed him a role in the Telefilm adaptation of Corin Tellado's love stories, 'En Aquella Playa', alongside Rudy Rodríguez.
Following this, Osvaldo received additional offers and gained acclaim for his role in the play 'M.A.C.H.O.S.', earning him the Agüeybana Award for Breakthrough Performance. After participating in other theater productions, Angela Meyer cast him in the soap opera 'Natalia'. He then made his professional singing debut in the musical 'Guys and Dolls'.
Osvaldo's performance in 'En Aquella Playa' was broadcast in multiple countries. Supported by soap opera director Grazio D' Angelo and writer Delia Fiallo, he secured a role in "Kassandra" (1993), starring Coraima Torres. This soap opera holds the Guinness World Record as the most translated. Osvaldo also performed its opening theme, composed by his manager Alejandro Montalbán.
Critics in Venezuela praised Osvaldo's performance in that soap opera, leading to an invitation to showcase his singing talent at the 'Chica 2001' event.
Gaining further recognition across Latin America, Osvaldo starred in "La Viuda de Blanco" (1996) with Yolandita Monge. This Colombian soap opera was aired in Spain, Turkey, Indonesia, Taiwan, and other countries. Its soundtrack featured 15 songs, seven performed by Osvaldo and six by his co-star. After a decade abroad, Osvaldo returned to Puerto Rico, where he worked on the Telefilms 'Los hijos de Nadie' and 'Una Pasión en el Espejo', as well as the series 'Después del Adiós', sharing lead roles with Alba Nydia Díaz.
He returned to the stage in the musical 'The Beauty and the Beast'. In the early 2000s, Osvaldo worked between Mexico and Colombia, appearing in productions such as 'Pecado Mortal' and 'Rauzán' (2000).
As an entrepreneur, Osvaldo co-founded Riverside Entertainment Company with Papo Coss, producing both the mini-series 'Después del Adios' and the film 'Los Días de Doris'.
