Rebecca Da Costa is a Brazilian actress who recently starred as the female lead opposite Sean Faris in Freerunner, an action-packed Parkour film. Later this year, she will appear in Seven Below alongside Val Kilmer and Ving Rhames, as well as Mine Games, co-starring Briana Evigan and Alex Meraz from Twilight. She has just completed filming When The Bough Breaks with Milo Ventimiglia, Gabriel Macht, and Andie MacDowell.
Born in Recife, Brazil, Da Costa attended Rui Barbosa School, where she nurtured her passion for writing, directing, and acting in theater.
At 15, Rebecca won the national modeling contest Elite 'Look of the Year' and was signed by the agency. By 17, she moved to Milan to start her modeling career, debuting at Milan Fashion Week. She has walked for designers including Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, Escada, and Hugo Boss, and has been featured in campaigns for Chopard, Swarovski, Nokia, and L'Oreal.
While modeling, Rebecca continued to refine her acting skills and devoted herself to writing scripts. In 2009, she made her acting debut on an episode of HBO's Entourage, which led to roles in the supernatural thriller Trick of the Witch, directed by Chris Morrissey, and notably as Natasha in L.A., I Hate You, directed by Yvan Gauthier.
