Danny Rose is an experienced producer with over twenty years in developing and delivering impactful scripted and unscripted television. As President of Danny Rose Media, Inc., based in Studio City, he manages a diverse slate of original content for broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms, overseeing projects from concept to production with a reputation for creative excellence, strong talent partnerships, and consistently high ratings.
He currently serves as lead Producer on Melting Point, a comedy thriller feature film set to shoot in Ireland, highlighting his growth into global storytelling and feature-length projects, alongside another feature planned in Majorca. His pilot Love Handles, initially developed at HBO and later revived at Amazon, was created in close collaboration with Regina King, showcasing his ability to nurture unique ideas and transition them across platforms.
Danny’s career includes a significant role as Co-Executive Producer of CBS’s hit series Scorpion, which he developed after securing the life rights of its central figure. The series aired four seasons with 93 episodes, backed by a high-profile creative package that contributed to its worldwide success. At Viacom, he Executive Produced series including Zoe Ever After starring Brandy, the music competition Chasing Destiny with Kelly Rowland, and the documentary series Todrick, co-created with Brian Graden.
Earlier, Danny held key producing positions at ABC Studios and Warner Bros. Television, working on some of the era’s most successful comedies. His credits include all six seasons of Cougar Town and all nine seasons of the Emmy-nominated Scrubs, as well as pilots like Undateable, which ran for three seasons.
Throughout his career, Danny has collaborated with prominent creative talents such as Justin Lin, Alex Kurtzman, Bob Orci, Bill Lawrence, Meghan Trainor, and Scooter Braun, among other leading authors, writers, and filmmakers, bringing ambitious projects to fruition with a focus on scale, character depth, and commercial appeal.
Currently, he is advancing several IP-driven projects and international formats to market, underscoring his ongoing commitment to globally relevant storytelling and versatile, franchise-ready concepts.
A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Danny holds a BFA in Film and Television Production, following studies in Business and Media Arts at Tulane University. His combination of creative rigor, market knowledge, and collaborative leadership continues to define his work and establish him as a producer shaping the future of television and film storytelling.
