Viviane Vives was born in Barcelona, Spain, to a French mother, a Catalan father, an Italian grandfather, and a Belgian grandmother. After living in five major cities, including Madrid, Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, she has now settled in Austin, Texas, while continuing to commute to LA and Barcelona. She studied Journalism and Advertising at the University of Barcelona and Film and Television at New York University. Throughout her career, she has worked as a writer, director, and actress in film, television, and advertising. Additionally, she has experience as a translator, magazine writer, and photographer. As a film writer and director, she received a Fulbright Scholarship for Artistic Studies. As an actress, she has participated in American, British, French, German, Swedish, and Spanish productions, including TV series and feature films. She is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Catalan.
