Lidia was born in Backa Palanka, a small town in the northern Vojvodina province of Serbia—so small you might not find it on a map, but that’s okay. When she was one year old, her parents relocated to Chicago, IL, where they settled down. She earned a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from DePaul University in Chicago. Soon after graduating, she developed a strong desire to pursue her creative passions, sparked by unfulfilled potential and dreams. To follow this calling, she left her corporate job to study and work as an actress in Chicago. After several successful years honing her craft there, she drove to Los Angeles to continue her journey. Since then, she has participated in numerous theater, TV, film, and commercial projects. A few years ago, Lidia overcame her fear of writing and producing, creating, producing, casting, and starring in projects including the YouTube web series "Reasonably Decent" and a proof-of-concept TV pilot titled "Blood Drive." In her free time, Lidia enjoys life with her husband, stepson, one cat, two rabbits, and a tortoise.
