Mirela Payret is a Spanish actress, singer, dancer, acrobat, presenter, and model. Born in Barcelona, Catalunya, Spain, she grew up in the marginal neighborhood of Bellvitge monoblocks in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, which was a suburb during her adolescence. She is fluent in Catalan, Spanish, English, and French. Before pursuing a professional acting career, she occasionally worked as a dancer, model, and presenter. For many years, she held a position as a commercial manager and director of a major sales team in Spain for a London-based multinational chemical products company.
Gradually, while maintaining her well-established job, she dedicated increasing time to training as an actress, dancer, and singer. This journey led her to realize that her previous career no longer fulfilled her. Despite her humble family background and the challenges of the Spanish economic crisis, she took the risk to change her profession and life, leaving a secure contract, a high salary, and a prominent position at a young age to fully commit to acting, music, and art in all forms that allow expression, emotional connection, inspiration, and storytelling.
She bravely left stability and security behind, making this dramatic change without any guarantees of building a professional career as an actress and singer or being able to sustain herself as an artist.
Since 2012, she has been living in Argentina, working as an actress and singer-songwriter, performing across Latin America and Spain.
