Nader Taghizadeh is an Iranian-born filmmaker, producer, broadcaster, and media professional based in Finland. With more than twenty years of experience in film, television, radio, documentary, and digital media production, he has worked across Europe and the Middle East in a wide range of creative and technical roles, including producer, director, cinematographer, editor, radio host, and technical director.
He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Media and Communications from the University of Nicosia, Cyprus, where his academic work focused on cinema, media theory, communication studies, and exilic filmmaking. He later pursued doctoral research exploring storytelling and visual style in the work of exiled Iranian filmmakers.
Throughout his career, Taghizadeh has collaborated with broadcasters, production companies, universities, cultural organizations, and international media initiatives, producing television programs, documentaries, radio productions, educational content, and multimedia projects for diverse audiences.
His creative interests focus on documentary storytelling, identity, migration, exile, memory, and cultural belonging. He continues to develop film and media projects that explore the intersection of personal narratives, social change, and emerging forms of storytelling.
