Adam Freeman serves as the Creative Lead at subculture inc., specializing in content strategy, development, and production of unscripted original series, digital projects, industrial content, specials, and live events for networks, streamers, production companies, and talent. His clients and projects include FOX Alternative Entertainment, AETN Factual Studios, ITV Studios America, Bungalow Media + Entertainment, Critical Content, 495 Productions, Amazon Originals, SMOSH Studios, and others.
With over 25 years of experience as a producer, director, and writer in both unscripted and scripted television, Freeman spent 11 years at MTV, contributing to more than 1,000 hours of live TV such as Total Request Live, Direct Effect, and MTV's New Year's Eve and Wanna Be A VJ events. He then became the youngest showrunner in syndication with the launch of On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Following projects with Nick Cannon and Chelsea Handler, Freeman directed over 160 episodes of Gene Simmons Family Jewels and played a key role in expanding that four-person production company into what is now Thinkfactory Media—an ITV company behind hits like Marriage Boot Camp and Mama June: From Not To Hot, both created by Freeman.
