Marina Moretti began her artistic journey on stage, acting in school plays and later at Macunaíma. Soon after, she shifted her path behind the cameras, earning a degree in Audiovisual Studies and quickly securing her first professional opportunity with professor Luciane Toffoli. She started out in executive production, but since 2018 has dedicated her career to screenwriting and project development.
At the production company Cine, Marina contributed to the feature films Ninguém Ama Ninguém por Mais de Dois Anos (an adaptation of Nelson Rodrigues' short stories, available on Prime Video), Divaldo - O Mensageiro da Paz (a biographical film on the spiritual leader), Em Nome do Meu Povo (documentary), and the documentary web series Reinvenção na Reclusão. She also created the teen web series STEAM Girls for Tríplice Cultural (a finalist at Rio Webfest) and worked as a script assistant on the documentary Existir e Resistir: O Desafio da Depressão.
As a Development Producer at Elo, she was involved in several major projects, including Caindo na Real (comedy, co-produced with Telecine), Avenida Beira-Mar (drama, co-produced with Telecine and Viralata), (Des)controle (dramedy, co-produced with Migdal), Salve Rosa (thriller, co-produced with Panorâmica), and Elas, Divinas (documentary for Lifetime).
In recent years, Marina wrote a documentary project for director Dainara Toffoli and a writer's biography feature for the director Luiza de Andrade, licensed a romantic comedy feature to Inffinito, taught production for screenwriters at Roteiraria and screenwriting for producers at Panorâmica and Galeria, worked as a consultant on Roteiraria projects, and wrote numerous scripts for corporate events.
