A staple across North America’s underground comedy scene, often performing in front of brick walls and behind chicken wire, Nick Flanagan stands out as a unique talent post-NAFTA. His charming deadpan delivery, carefully chosen topics, and perfectly timed "sort-of pregnant" pauses have earned him a devoted fanbase. Nick has appeared at SF Sketchfest, Fun Fun Fun Fest, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Andy Kindler's Alternative Show at JFL42, and JFL. Now based in Los Angeles, the heart of comedy, he hosts Night Comedy at the acclaimed Night Gallery. His debut album, "I'm Here All Weak," was released on Talent Moat, followed by his second album, "Wiped Privilege," launched on Comedy Dynamics along with a limited cassette release on Radical Documents. The Laugh Button praised "Nick Flanagan's Wiped Privilege" as exactly what stand-up comedy needs. Alongside traditional stand-up, Nick performs in punk bands, writes for Emmy-winning shows like Odd Squad (PBS) and Cupcake and Dinosaur (Netflix), stars in indie films such as Diamond Tongues, and frequently appears on radio shows including WFMU's The Best Show with Tom Sharpling and the Goddamn Dave Hill Show. Here’s a glowing endorsement: "In the future, when being hilarious is illegal, Nick Flanagan will surely (and deservedly) be sentenced to the electric chair." – Jason Woliner (Eagleheart, Human Giant, Last Man On Earth). Impressive!
