Sydney Colston began his career in the entertainment industry over 20 years ago, debuting in a feature film. After gaining initial experience, he became a series regular on the network television show "Battle Dome" from 1999 to 2001. Throughout his career, Sydney has starred and co-starred in numerous TV shows and films and appeared as a principal actor in over 80 national commercials. Driven to broaden his skills and knowledge, he pursued videography and, in 2012, worked as a videographer on the film "20 FEET FROM STARDOM," which won the 2014 Academy Award for Best Documentary and a 2015 Grammy for Best Music Film.
An Academy Award-winning cameraman and videographer, Sydney has also managed celebrity clients including Susaye Greene, the last member of The Supremes; Charlo Crossley of the Harlettes; and several jazz and R&B legends. He has represented Olympian Al Joyner, the 1984 triple jump gold medalist, as well as actors, magicians, and social media influencers.
In 2015, Sydney produced the feature film soundtrack for "Heroes Of Dirt." He is also involved with VetFlicks (VetFlicks.com), an innovative film distribution platform dedicated to presenting high-quality content honoring the global veteran experience through theatrical and digital releases.
Sydney actively supports "Universally Accessible Media," promoting content accessible to the blind, deaf, and hard of hearing. He produces the philanthropic cooking show "Cooking Styles Of The Rich & Famous," which benefits homeless veterans. No one involved in the show receives payment, and all profits support homeless veterans through ilovesos.org.
Over the years, Sydney has produced film, music, and broadcast television alongside industry legends. He looks forward to the future of entertainment, focusing on positive new media that combines education, entertainment, peace, and love, inviting everyone to "Be The Change.
