Erdem Yener was born in Iskenderun. He began walking at 7 months, speaking at 12 months, and learned to read and write by age 4. The youngest of six siblings, Erdem showed early interest in various fields beyond music, including caricature, acting, radio programming, and dancing. He started writing songs at 13, picked up the guitar at 18, and formed his first and only band, +4, in Ankara. For five years, he performed bar shows and concerts across many cities, especially Ankara, captivating audiences with both cover songs and his original work. In 2003, he moved to Istanbul and began producing music at Kedi Müzik. There, he contributed to numerous soundtracks, albums, and jingles as a songwriter, composer, arranger, soloist, and performer. Since 2010, he has also acted in TV series and films.
