Jennifer Jiles, an Emmy Award winner, was born in Poughkeepsie, NY. The youngest of three siblings, her father was a surgeon and her mother a psychotherapist. She started her career as a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall, appearing on "The David Letterman Show" and in the "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade," solidifying her ambition to become a professional dancer. During the off-season, she transitioned to hosting the New York Mets baseball TV series, "DYNAMETS!," which earned her first Emmy Award in 1993.
While performing with Tim Conway and Tom Poston on the National Tour of "The Odd Couple," Jiles earned her Actors Equity card. She later appeared on stage as Agnes Gooch in "Mame," starring alongside Samantha Eggar as Vera and Shani Wallis as Mame, and collaborated with Carl Reiner to adapt his short stories into sketches at The Westbeth Theatre Center.
In 1997, she began writing, producing, and performing stand-up and sketch comedy in and around New York City. Notably, she appeared with Rob Corddry in her sketch group "Third Rail Comedy" and performed 21 original characters in her two-act solo show "Kicking & Screaming, The Musical!" which recounted her years as a Radio City Rockette.
Jiles transitioned to television with "Small Miracles," starring Judd Hirsch and Kathryn Kates and directed by Paul Mones. She made her network prime-time debut with consecutive performances on CBS's "Bull," directed by Bethany Rooney, and Marvel's "Jessica Jones," directed by Sarah Boyd.
As a filmmaker, she produced her debut project "Mother of the Week," followed by a collaboration with director Debra Markowitz on "The Waiting Room." Together, they garnered numerous awards, including Audience Choice Awards, Best Ensemble, and several Best Actress honors. Jiles is currently collaborating with writer Chris Niespodzianski on a dark comedy/murder mystery feature and with writer Frederick Stroppel on a single-camera sports comedy series.
Throughout her career, Ms. Jiles has appeared in numerous on-camera commercials and has provided voice-overs for hundreds of projects, including "Eliquis" and "Grand Theft Auto V.
