Peruvian Hispanic actress, director, and screenwriter born in Lima. After earning a degree in Advertising Sciences from the Peruvian Institute of Advertising (IPP), she pursued acting training independently through various workshops in Peru, England, and Spain. She has worked across film, television, and theater in Peru, Ecuador, Spain, and Colombia. She studied film directing with Enrica Pérez and served as assistant director for actors on the recent film La Costurera by Daniel Rodriguez, sharing the direction table with him.
Among her recent film roles, in 2021 in Spain, she appeared in La Casa Del Caracol, Macarena Astorga’s debut film, and in Soltera Codiciada 2 in Arequipa, Peru, directed by Joanna Lombardi. She co-starred in La Vergüenza, directed by Spanish filmmaker David Planell, which won the Biznaga de Oro for Best Film at the 2009 Malaga Film Festival. Additionally, she featured in Altiplano by Peter Brossens and Jessica Woodworth, screened at Critics' Week in Cannes, and in Prueba De Vida alongside Meg Ryan and Russell Crowe, directed by Taylor Hackford. In Peru, her film credits include El Evangelio de la Carne, Encadenados, Lima 13, Rocanrol 68, among others. She earned Best Actress at the 4th International Short Film Festival La Noche de Los Cortos for her role in Cuidados Intensivos, directed by Brian Jacobs.
In 2021, she directed and starred in the short film Varado, winner of the Fae Lima creative incentives, and was executive producer of the pilot for the series Vuela Conmigo. That same year, she co-starred in the series Princesas, broadcast by América Televisión and produced by Protv. Previously, she played the antagonist in La Esclava Blanca, produced by Caracol TV Colombia, now available on Netflix. Her work has garnered multiple international award nominations. In 2023 and 2024, she is part of the casts of El Inmortal 2 and El Juego Del Alma, both produced and filmed in Madrid, Spain.
In theater, in early 2019 she directed an adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s Orlando at the Teatro Británico in Lima. For 12 years, she has hosted Sucedió en el Perú, a cultural program focused on history, on the national channel TVPerú. Since 2018, she has starred in and directed Solo Cosas Geniales, a one-woman play by English playwright Duncan Macmillan, receiving critical acclaim and touring Peru, Uruguay, Argentina, Spain, and Cuba. She is co-founder and artistic director of the production company Animalien.
