Born in New York City, André Sogliuzzo began his career in New York theater. He made his screen debut alongside Al Pacino in Pacino's Richard III project, Looking For Richard (1996). Following roles in Disney's Iron Will (1994) and Nora Ephron's You've Got Mail (1998), he expanded into voice acting. A remarkably versatile character actor, André discovered boundless opportunities in voice work. Besides collaborating with Pacino and Ephron, he has worked with Tom Hanks, Bob Zemeckis, Taylor Hackford, Andrew Adamson, and Adam Sandler. Since relocating to Los Angeles, he has explored a wide range of voice-acting roles. As a voice-match artist, André has provided looping for actors such as Russell Crowe, Gene Hackman, Jack Nicholson, and Clint Eastwood. His animated film credits include voicing the twin train engineers Smokey and Steamer in The Polar Express (2005), as well as roles in Lion King 1½ (2004), Mulan 2 (2004), and Disney's The Wild (2006).
With L.A. Theatre Works, he has performed in live radio dramas like Breaking The Code and Sixteen Wounded. He has lent his voice to numerous animated TV series including Family Guy, American Dad, Jackie Chan Adventures, Stuart Little, Invader Zim, Father of the Pride, Samurai Jack, Celebrity Deathmatch, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. He regularly appears on Family Guy, American Dad, Clone Wars, and voices Gaspar Le Gekko in Disney's Brandy & Mr. Whiskers. A veteran of nearly a hundred video games, André has portrayed countless characters in titles such as Medal of Honor, Call of Duty, True Crime, Destroy All Humans, Spawn, and Doom 3. He voices Puss in Boots in all Shrek games and proudly performs the role of Tony Montana in Vivendi Universal's Scarface: The World Is Yours.
