Paulina's career has spanned stages and screens, encompassing content creation, business affairs, communications, policy, programming, production, post-production, and distribution, mainly within Canada's English and French-language creative sectors.
As a programming expert, she has developed, curated, and promoted award-winning projects, programs, and events, reporting to both public and private stakeholders. She has also served as an executive director for non-profit organizations across various sectors.
From 2017 to 2022, as the Programming and Operations Lead of the Encore+ YouTube channel—created by the Canada Media Fund in collaboration with industry partners—Paulina managed the licensing, digitization, and promotion of over 3,000 classic Canadian feature films, documentaries, TV series, and short films. In 2020, she launched and executive produced Encore+ Originals, featuring prominent Canadian talent revisiting notable past collaborations, recorded via Zoom during the pandemic and utilizing YouTube Premiere. Encore+ and its French-language counterpart, Encore Plus, enhanced the visibility of legacy content and talent, boosting sales, remakes, and engagement with global audiences, festivals, streaming platforms, and Canadians nationwide.
Committed to preserving Canadian and Indigenous audiovisual heritage, between 2018 and 2022, Paulina commissioned and supervised 2K and 4K restorations of over a dozen endangered classic Canadian feature films for Encore+ in partnership with Telefilm Canada.
To expand her expertise in film preservation, she worked as a Programming Specialist at the Canadian Film Institute's Save As Symposium—The Future of Restoring, Preserving, Distributing, and Exhibiting Heritage Cinema—held at the International Film Festival in Ottawa (IFFO) in 2022, 2023, and 2024. There, she curated and hosted bilingual case studies of recent Canadian legacy film restorations and produced original video interviews with leading industry figures.
Her other national curatorial digital initiatives include First Person Digital (National Film Board of Canada / Ada X) and HTMles 2010: Festival of Media Art + Digital Culture (Ada X).
As founder and executive producer of Women in Film and Television International's Short Film Showcase, Paulina curated three editions of the event, which was presented in twenty cities across three continents. Showcasing award-winning short films directed by women worldwide and advocating for gender equity in the global film industry, the Showcase attracted broad audiences and strengthened connections among WIFT Chapters internationally.
An active industry leader, Paulina served as Vice-President of Programming and later as President of Montreal Women in Film and Television (Allia - Alliance des femmes des industries créatives) for over a decade. She also chaired Global Programming for Women in Film and Television International (WIFTI) for two years, deepening her governance experience and fostering impactful international collaborations. Additionally, she is a co-founding board member and former chair of the advisory committee of the English Language Arts Network (ELAN) and a past vice president of the Quebec Drama Federation.
