Efrayn is a versatile Spanish artist who composes, writes, and produces his own music, as well as original soundtracks for audiovisual projects. His work focuses on 2D animation technology, often paired with mature themes.
Born on February 3, 1986, in Alicante, Valencian Community, Spain, he moved to Catalonia at seventeen to study "Technology of Audio-visual Narration."
During this period, he began recording music demos, including "Ángel y Demonio (Angel and Demon)," which accompanied a music video he produced in 2004. This song was part of his musical project "Trival Scar." Due to amateur vocal recordings and financial constraints, the project was postponed.
To share his voice with the public, Efrayn recorded various covers of popular songs online between 2006 and 2007. These covers gained attention, leading to his first concerts and public appearances in 2007.
At the same time, he attracted followers for his animation work, notably the comedies "La Sirenita Lesbiana" (The Lesbian Little Mermaid) (2009) and "Rapunzel Nabunzel" (2011), both featuring original music and vocals composed by him. In 2010, with greater resources and experience, he released a compilation of covers titled "Transición" (Transition) online, offered without profit intent. This album included remixed fragments of his own songs and the fully original track "Ieri Erano Tante," recorded in 2008, which was well received despite its novelty.
In 2011, Efrayn officially debuted in the music industry with singles "Aire" and "Todo," preluding his long-awaited album "Encerrado en mi Mente" (Enclosed in my Mind), a project he had postponed since age fifteen but realized through determination. Shortly after, he released the duet single "Príncipe Rojo [Encerrado en mi Mente / Rapunzel Nabunzel]" on iTunes and Spotify. This track is part of the album "Encerrado en mi Mente" and the "BSO Nabunzel Rapunzel" soundtrack, which was published on Google Play Music on October 24, 2005. The soundtrack accompanies the animated feature film that began production in 2009 and was completed in 2014.
The film premiered on November 28, 2015, in Barcelona, Spain, receiving media coverage and selection at the Alicante Film Festival.
